What amount can a single trust claim pay?

Today, an approved claim pays between $600 at the H. K. Porter trust and $75,000 at the NARCO trust among the 38 trusts listing a mesothelioma value. Most families file with more than one trust and add up what each one pays.

Each trust sets a starting dollar amount for each illness. It pays only part of that amount today, so money is left for people who file later. The published payment percentages span from 0.7% at the ARTRA trust up to 100% at NARCO.
